Welcome to Long Island Performance!

Adam's 1970 Olds Cutlass

This car has been owned by Adam since he was 17 and now is one of the baddest street cars on the planet- no joke! The car has had many motors, but the most recent is a bullet-proof 496 Chevy with pro-mod guts, B&M Megablower, Dart Heads and BDS Modified 850's. The tranny is a FB Turbo 400 and the rear is a narrowed 12-bolt with ladder-bar suspension.

Look closely at the picture below and take notice of the one piece firewall that will surely be a signature of Adam's work. What a difference it makes in the engine compartment. He covered the exisiting one with a custom piece of sheet metal, which was then welded and seam-sealed into place. Next time you look under your hood, you will notice the difference. After it was painted, you could read the words on the distributor off the firewall!!

Below is a picture of the interior before it went to Phoenix Upholstery in Elmont. The entire chassis was replaced as the first one done 8 years ago couldn't be certified due to new requirements on wall thickness of the tubing. Adam put the entire chassis in the car in only a few days after gutting the original.

AFTER the Interior shop.

Outstanding job and color combination.

You really can't see it in the picture, but the entire floor has been raised several inches to allow for additional clearance under the car. Now we have no problem with exhaust clearance(flat headers do nothing for exhaust flow). It now sits way low.

And it's not just pretty either. With power to spare, I'd like to introduce you to some real horsepower. If the blower ain't enough, there's always two plates worth of additional ponies on tap with multi-step timing retard to protect against the detonation demons.

All wiring, plumbing, everything you see done by Long Island Performance.
