This is Adam's car after shearing off the
wheel studs and hitting a pole.

Since the old chassis could not be
certified, and we were always getting kicked out of west hampton for running
faster than 9.90, Adam decided
to replace the entire back half after the accident. This type of work is
beyond the scope of most people, but as you can see by the pictures below, it
was not beyond the talents of Adam of Long Island Performance..

Can you imagine trying to put this back together?

This is attention to detail. The boxing of the old chassis is something most
shops don't even bother with because it is so time consuming.

Ummmm, where's the floor? Step 1- center and align new chassis rails.
Step 2- Graft in original quarter panel from donor car.

Step 3- install
crossmember, ladder bars and rear.

Note that the quarter panels and rear valance are from different cars.

Step 4- Install new wheel tubs, x-bars, tin-work, paint chassis and seam-seal
floor.

Install fuel cell, bottle, and bodywork till the cows come home!
